What is the role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Platform - Senior Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you will spearhead key initiatives across our Cloud business, representing critical customer groups across the organization. You will craft and execute strategic plans aimed at expanding our cloud regions across AWS/GCP/Azure, aligning projects with customer demand and business goals, while making strategic investments to drive growth. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams across Elastic to drive end-to-end product launches. For example: you will prioritize, build and launch projects to enhance our Elastic Cloud platform, such as expanding into new regions to meet compliance requirements and driving product launches in collaboration with engineering teams. Your work will be pivotal in scaling our cloud offerings and delivering exceptional value to our customers. What you will be doing Develop and oversee strategic initiatives to expand our cloud regions while supporting the growth and scalability of Elastic Cloud Hosted and Serverless products. Collaborate with engineering teams across Elastic to plan, develop, and launch new Elastic Cloud regions. Develop and advocate for public sector requirements, including understanding and addressing certifications and compliance needs specific to public sector customers. Identify and implement infrastructure improvements in collaboration with cloud providers (AWS, GCP & Azure) to enhance the customer experience and ensure our cloud services are reliable, scalable, and secure. Work with Sales & Marketing teams to support go-to-market strategies, messaging, competitive analysis, and enablement. Analyze market trends, customer feedback and customer usage to drive product features and process improvements. Communicate and align with stakeholders across the organization to drive project success and maintain transparency. What you bring along 5+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager with a focus on cloud infrastructure or related fields. Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and cloud-native technologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Bonus Points Previous experience in managing global infrastructure across AWS, Azure & GCP. Experience with compliance and security standards such as FedRAMP High, IL5, or similar. Experience with Elastic Cloud, Elastic Stack or similar cloud-based search and analytics platforms/products. Experience or willingness to work in a distributed, global team organization. Compensation Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component. The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below. These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The typical starting salary range for this role is: $133,100 - $210,600 USD The typical starting salary range for this role in the select locations listed above is: $159,900 - $252,900 USD Additional Information As a distributed company, diversity drives our identity.
