Junior Video Editor and Motion Designer

. This role is responsible for video editing, motion graphics creation, design, delivery, and occasional videography supporting brand, customer, and employee communications. This role will report to the Video and Photography Producer and work with the Motion Graphics Designer across all projects. In order to be considered for this position, a link to a portfolio of projects you have completed, and descriptions of your involvement is required. Responsibilities: Edit employee, customer, and partner testimonial videos that can be used on C3 AI, social media, sales presentations, and internally to help build brand awareness and drive employee recruitment. Create and produce high-quality 2-D motion graphic animations and explainer videos that help explain how the C3 AI Suite works and how C3 AI solutions help customers solve previously unsolvable problems. Edit technical training videos containing a mix of live-action and animation/graphic content. Concept and create storyboards and style guides, produce animatics and motion prototypes during the pre-production process. Produce brand inspiration videos (e.g., “Culture Video”) to help drive company awareness Collaborate with the design team on various projects including, but not limited to presentation, website, product demos and social media posts. Work closely with Creative Director, Video Producers, Motion Designer, Visual Designers, Writers, and Digital Marketers to see a project from start to finish. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a design or video-related discipline. 3+ years of experience in video production, motion graphics and design including pre-production, production, post-production, live-events, editorial infrastructure, and content creation. Proficiency in video editing, motion and design software such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe Animate, Photoshop, Illustrator, Cinema 4D/Blender (plus), and Figma Experience in brand, marketing, and social content. Experience in cinematography, lighting, audio recording and mixing, non-linear editing, and finishing visual productions. Good grasp of design fundamentals: typography, color, and layout Able to lift 50 lbs. (photography and video equipment) Comfortable with periodic travel. Attributes: Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects with short timelines, ensuring that deliverables are completed on time, on budget, and at the highest quality level. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Candidates should be organized, very detail oriented, and work well within a team environment. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future company sponsorship.
