Within the HID Identity and Access Management business area, the Workforce business unit delivers physical identity access management (PIAM) services across all identity types within an organization. As the Director of Global Business Development (Partner Ecosystem), you will lead the development and execution of the strategic partnership strategy to drive growth and market leadership in the physical security industry. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep physical security and identity industry knowledge, a strong network, and a proven track record in building successful partnerships. The Director will be responsible for shaping and implementing the organization’s alliance strategy, fostering key relationships, and driving collaborative initiatives with industry partners. As an individual contributor with the potential to lead a supporting team in the future, you will be responsible for enabling revenue growth targets, expanding market presence, and building direct strategic relationships with organizations ranging from Big Tech, access control providers, strategic system integrators, and complementary identity solution providers. A proven track record of sales and business development within cloud-based subscription services globally will be essential for success, along with growing top-line & recurring revenue in line with profit targets. Within the management team, you will collaborate with peers and the unit VP to define a vision & strategy based on customer & industry insights, regulations, competitive landscape, and market evolutions, which will be key in driving the organization forward. As our Global Business Development Director, Partner Ecosystems, you’ll support HID’s success by: Strategic Partnership Strategy:

Develop, execute & effectively communicate a comprehensive strategic partnership strategy in the PIAM market, aligning with the company's business objectives. Identify and prioritize potential partners, evaluating their strategic fit and contribution to the organization's growth. Drive strategic initiatives to capture untapped markets. Industry Leadership:

Maintain a deep understanding of the PIAM and physical security markets, including emerging trends, technologies, and competitive landscape. Position the organization as an industry leader through partnership, thought leadership, and participation in industry events. Serve as a trusted ambassador of HID. Partnership Development and Management:

Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the PIAM ecosystem, including technology partners, industry associations, and regulatory bodies. Lead the negotiation and structuring of complex partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, product marketing, sales, technical services, and legal teams, to ensure the seamless execution of partnership initiatives. Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams working on alliance-related projects. Innovation and New Opportunities:

Proactively identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborative initiatives that drive innovation and enhance the company's position in the Security market. Performance Metrics and Reporting:

Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for partner initiatives, regularly reporting on the success and impact of partnerships, as well as sale targets set for the offering. Use data-driven insights to optimize and improve alliance programs and initiatives. Partner Enablement:

Work closely with internal resources to develop the materials needed to effectively communicate the platform’s value and growth potential for partners. What we will love about your background: Proven experience in senior leadership roles within partnerships in the identity market. Visionary leader with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions. In-depth knowledge of PIAM technologies, trends, and industry dynamics. Demonstrated ability to drive results in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. Actionable Rolodex of decision-makers in the physical security or identity markets preferred. Extensive experience in building and maintaining key partners. Experience working closely with legal to manage contract negotiations that incorporate commercial/legal risk, profitability & customer value. Excellent communication and presentation skills amongst global audience. Strong negotiation, closing and relationship-building skills. Proven ability to successfully partner with large international organizations. Ability to respectfully drive and influence change cross-organizationally in a dynamic multicultural environment. Adaptable and comfortable in a rapidly changing industry landscape. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. High level of integrity, professionalism, and business acumen. Excellent networking skills with a strong industry presence. Outstanding organizational and project management skills. Your Experience and Education include: BS/BA in business or engineering, and equivalent industry experience. 10+ years of sales experience in the physical security area, IT Sec sales experience and/or experience in the Identity market or integration platforms is a plus. A proven track record of quota/goal achievement and demonstrated career stability. Microsoft Office applications. Fluent in CRM tools such as Salesforce.com. Proficiency in CRM software and sales performance analytics tools. Who you are as a Team Member: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
