About the Mission You Will Join:
Support the Department of the Air Force (DAF) in managing the IT Asset Management Lifecycle and Enterprise Software License.
Your Impact to the Mission:
The Project Management/Business Analyst will support the Department of the Air Force (DAF) in managing the IT Asset Management Lifecycle and Enterprise Software License. This role involves serving as a subject matter expert, providing support and guidance in various forums, and assisting in the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Asset Management Lifecycle Expertise:
Serve as DAF Staff-level subject matter expert on plans, policies, procedures, tactics, techniques, best practices, solutions, and procedures specific to IT Asset Management Lifecycle (hardware and software). Support and Integration:
Support Government Lead with core activities and integration with support teams, including but not limited to SAF/AQ, SAF/FM, AFSPC, and PEO BES. Provide IT Asset Management Lifecycle support to Government personnel in various forums and meetings. Liaise with a variety of internal/external working groups. Guidance and Representation:
Provide support and guidance as an Air Force subject matter expert for IT Asset Management Lifecycle at technical symposia, industry conferences, seminars, meetings, working groups, and panels as directed by the Government. Coordination and Communication:
Interface with high-level decision boards, interact and coordinate actions with relevant staff members, and convey IT Asset Management Lifecycle interests at working groups. Briefings and Reporting:
Provide periodic and other unscheduled briefings on the status of critical joint initiatives for Air Staff, Secretary of the Air Force (SECAF), Joint Staff, and DoD key officials concerning IT Asset Management Lifecycle. Strategy and Policy Development:
Support development and implementation of strategies, policies, procedures, and policy for IT Asset Management Lifecycle requirements resulting from laws, regulations, and audits, Presidential directives. Plan Development and Maintenance:
Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of plans required to maintain oversight of DAF IT Asset Management Lifecycle. Experience Needed to Be Successful: Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, investment analysis, or a related role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in financial analysis software and tools; MS Project, Adobe. PPBE knowledge and experience. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience with IT Asset Management Lifecycle and Enterprise Software License. Familiarity with military or government operations. Experience with DOD budgetary process. Basic Qualifiers: Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Can Additional Years of Experience Substitute for Degree?
