Overview: Join ProCare Therapy's dedicated team at National Heritage Academies-Timberland Charter K-8 in Muskegon as a School Social Worker, where you will play a crucial role in supporting the social and emotional well-being of our students. Pay & Benefits

• Competitive compensation packages dependent on experience and expertise ranging from $58,000-$65,000

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students facing social, emotional, behavioral, or academic challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective intervention strategies and support plans for students.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with special needs or circumstances.
• Advocate for students' rights and access to resources both within the school and in the community.
• Organize and facilitate workshops and programs on topics such as bullying prevention, conflict resolution, and mental health awareness, etc.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited program.
• Michigan State licensure or certification as a School Social Worker (if required).
• Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational or similar setting.
• Strong understanding of child development, behavioral interventions, and therapeutic techniques.

Interview Process

• 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
• 20-30 minute virtual/in-person interview with school district
• Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview
