The University of Iowa Department of Internal Medicine is seeking faculty members to join the Division of General Internal Medicine and expand its academic hospitalist group. Job Duties:
Successful candidates will practice Hospital Medicine, assuming a lead inpatient role within a multidisciplinary care team. Faculty will be actively involved in teaching and mentoring learners while providing high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree (or equivalent)
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Residency Program
- Board-certified/Board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Excellent communication skills
We are recruiting part-time and full-time physicians at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank, commensurate with experience and training. Appointment to the Instructor (non-track) level may also be considered. Candidates of all experience levels are encouraged to apply.
