Project Manager, Operations
Location: Glendale, CA
Salary: $50
Contract: 1 Year
Strategic Operations team enables and supports the Global Licensed Product Design and Development
team (PD) and is accountable for project management and operations across multiple channels and regions
including process development and improvement, program management and ongoing optimization, and to ensure teams are operating effectively and efficiently.
The Project Manager, Operations role specifically supports licensed Product Design processes and projects.
Partnering with departments across the business, this role will provide requirements and process development, optimization, and integration, ensuring that the intersections between departments and
between businesses are operating effectively in support of the strategic goals and business growth of all
categories.
Job Requirements
Responsibilities
* Develop and optimize asset procurement and management process for key categories and products
* Document current and new processes with mapping, workflows, swim lane charts, ARCIs, etc.
* Establish clearance process for legal/BA/Talent submissions, partnering with Product Design teams,
Studio Partners, Legal, BA, Commercial and other key stakeholders
* Collaborate with Studio partners, Archives teams and other content providers as needed
* Identify and assess tools and systems that can expand capabilities or improve current approaches
* Assist in identifying resource needs within the organization for new processes and initiatives
* Assist in development and delivery of key reports and presentations as required
* Establish timelines and manage projects to meet key milestones based on business calendars
* Maintain comprehensive project tracking to monitor and report project progress
* Escalate when deliverables are off calendar in a timely manner
* Develop, document, and adapt harmonized processes for licensed product design as needed
* Think strategically with a solution-oriented approach to problem solving
* Continually evaluate processes to maximize efficiencies in ways of working
* Build relationships with global partners and liaise with Licensees as needed
* 5+ years project management experience or related work experience, including but not limited to:
management consulting, product management, requirements development, business analysis, or a
similar position of analytical and operational rigor with a focus on defining business processes
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external communication
* Proficiency with PC and/or Mac office and process management software programs
* Analytically minded with Excel proficiency in basic data analysis and insight generation
* Solid organizational skills; able to juggle and prioritize projects and tasks
* Strong attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records
* Strong interpersonal and relationship skills
* Strong team player that works cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve
problems, and make decisions
* Comfortable communicating with all partners at all levels
* Flexible to change while able to manage and support multiple projects concurrently
* Proactive and demonstrated initiative able to manage day-to-day work-flow with minimal supervision
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
Creative and/or design field experience
* Trading card, hobby or collectibles experience
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in a business operations field or equivalent

Additional Information:
- Looking for someone that has process design experience. Important to have someone that has experience building out business processes ideally in the creative, retail, ecommerce space. (photos, videos)
- Has workshop facilitation skills-can come in to a room and gather current processes-important to have a consulting background and make process improvements
- Media and entertainment experience and consumer products capacity is ideal
- Must be familiar with Excel and data and status tracking teams. Team utilizes Monday.com for tracking-Must be comfortable with large amounts of data. Must be well versed with systems and data.
