Key Responsibilities of the Senior *****
Accounts Payable and Accounts *****
Manage AP and AR processes efficiently.
Oversee billing operations and ensure timely collections and payments.
Financial Analysis and *****
Perform detailed balance sheet reviews and investigate discrepancies.
Conduct heavy analytical reporting, including "what-if" scenarios and data extraction.
Utilize Power Query and other tools to extract and analyze data from various sources.
General *****
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
Qualifications for Senior Accountant *****
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
4+ years of progressive experience in accounting
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, including Power Query.
Experience with NetSuite is a plus
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Experience in forensic accounting is a plus.
