NJFC operates three production facilities: Northwest Packing in Vancouver, WA.; San Benito Foods, in Hollister, CA; and Toma-Tek in Firebaugh, CA.

We are looking for a Senior HRIS Analyst to manage and optimize the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to support the HR department's operations and the company's overall goals. This role will be responsible for maintaining employee data, generating reports, ensuring data integrity, and improving HR processes through technology for our corporate headquarters in Vancouver, WA. This is a remote or on-site position, requiring ability to work during corporate office business hours, 7:30 am -- 4:30 pm Pacific Time, and able to frequently travel to the corporate office, located in Vancouver, WA.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support implementation and use of HRIS applications, including configuration, customization, and administration. Perform project management of HR initiatives by planning, coordinating, and executing system implementation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Test program updates and troubleshoots new releases prior to full implementation to provide suggested solutions to developers and vendors. Facilitate system updates to ensure the quality, sustainability and efficiency of HR systems and processes. Create functional requirements in support of HRIS including benefits, payroll, time and attendance, and employee scheduling systems; develop HRIS reports to meet reporting requirements and to provide staff and management with information to support workflows and business decisions.

Evaluate system performance, provides technical support and develops Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for HRIS systems.

Requirements: * *

Bachelor's degree in business or related field with focus in business analysis, functional analysis or operational/process improvement disciplines; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the key responsibilities of this position. 3-5 years' experience in HRIS and payroll or related area, preferably with multi-state, multi-entity employer. Experience in seasonal manufacturing or food processing preferred. Experience with Microsoft 365 SharePoint administration, Teams, Forms and Power Automate strongly preferred. Thorough knowledge of administration and support of integrated payroll and timekeeping systems; ADP Workforce Now and Enterprise eTime or Workforce Management preferred. Good knowledge of industry standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Human Resources, Payroll, HRIS and Benefits fields; good knowledge of federal and state payroll requirements, labor regulations, and wage and hour tax laws, particularly for the States of California and Washington. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check including employment and educational verification, credit screen, and able to frequently travel to West Coast facilities (preference to Pacific Time Zone residents), and to work extended schedule during the fresh pack season, typically July to early October.
