As a Data Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing data engineering solutions within our organization. You will work with cross-functional teams to comprehend data requirements and deliver solutions that meet our business needs. Your technical expertise will be crucial in architecting and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes for scalability and performance. In addition, you will stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices in data engineering to ensure that Honeywell remains at the forefront of data engineering innovation. You will report directly to our Data Engineering Manager, and you will work remotely in this position. In this role, you will impact the effective collection, processing, and thoughtfulness of data to facilitate our business unbiased. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, develop, and implement data engineering solutions
• Work with cross-functional teams to comprehend data requirements and deliver solutions
• Architect and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes for scalability and performance while working within cloud technologies such as Azure and data bricks
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices in data engineering

• Previous experience in data engineering, including designing and implementing data solutions

• Bachelor’s degree within science, technology, engineering or mathematics is a plus.
• Hands on experience as a Data Engineer, Data Scientist.
• Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark and Kafka.
• Programming in Python, Java or Scala.
