---- Job Details: General Notes The Department of Medical Education at the Dell Medical School is looking for a Senior Academic Program Coordinator. Purpose This position will provide management and administrative support for the evaluation, assessment, and faculty development activities for the medical education program. Responsibilities Provide management and administrative support for the evaluation and assessment team: Track students' compliance with evaluation requirements.

Manage curriculum evaluation calendar.

Coordinate course/clerkship curriculum review process.

Build and manage evaluation forms and setups in evaluation management system.

Coordinate and maintain communication with curriculum coordinators related to evaluation and assessment needs.

Coordinate the planning and implementation of the monthly medical education journal club, works in progress meeting, and research office hours.

Maintain a list of Med Ed faculty research presentations and publications.

Coordinate with other evaluation and assessment team members on projects as needed.

Provide management and administrative support for faculty development activities: Advertise faculty development events.

Obtain CME credit for faculty development activities.

Distribute evaluation results to faculty development speakers and leaders.

Identify resources and tools needed for online faculty development sessions.

Provide administrative support for faculty development sessions and programs: Fellowship in Medical Education, Extraordinary Teaching and Learning in the Clinical Setting Series, DMS. Professional Development Speakers Bureau, Medical Education Grand Rounds, Women's Leadership Conversations, Certificate in in Clinical Teaching, and other programs that emerge.

Maintain an updated presence on the DMS Faculty Resources and Faculty Development web pages.

Lead the administrative team in planning and implementing annual Educational Innovation, Research & Awards Symposium.

Manage communications related to Academy of Distinguished Educators operations among members, with DMS faculty, and with the UT Academy of Distinguished Teachers.

Oversee Academy budget, finance management, fundraising, publicity, and award dissemination.

Manage and update the Academy web page and newsletter.

Additional responsibilities: Manage the Evaluation, Assessment and Faculty Development team procard and monthly reconciliations.

Provide administrative support for the student Peer Tutoring Program as needed.

Assist with exam proctoring as needed.

Other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least five years of progressive experience in program administration or coordination are required.Experience in project management. Proficiency in MS Office applications, Smartsheet, and Excel. Experience with program development and evaluation. Demonstrated proficiency working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and constituents. Demonstrated ability to communicate accurately and effectively to proactively influence the actions of others. Ability to initiate, organize, and prioritize workload. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work effectively with teams. Ability to deal discreetly with confidential information. Ability to positively adapt to changing circumstances and environments. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience communicating with members of a professional faculty and students. Salary Range

$56,000+ depending on qualifications Working Conditions

Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.

Occasional overtime and evening work to meet deadlines.
