Position Summary:

Enhances executive's effectiveness by providing information management support; representing the executive to others. Administrative Writing Skills, Reporting Skills, Supply Management, Scheduling, Microsoft Office Skills, Organization, Time Management, Presentation Skills, Equipment Maintenance, Travel Logistics, Verbal Communication. Department: Information Systems

This is a full-time 40 hour/week position

Responsibilities:

Provide Gatekeeper responsibilities for vendor access

Administrative issues associated with IT, management of highly confidential matters, and meeting schedules

Collect and consolidate project statuses and maintain/update project management dashboard

Assist with department budgets and maintain/update budget spreadsheets weekly

Process department purchase orders

Schedule occasional meetings

BASIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/APTITUDE/EXPERIENCE:

Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office applications, including word, excel power point and project.

Education/Experience/Licenses/Technical/Other:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Equivalent to an Associate's Degree in Business Administration or Secretarial Science required.

Experience: Up to one year of office experience preferred.

Certification/Licensure: see above

Software/Hardware: Excellent computer, organizational, verbal and written communication skills required. Light, accurate typing and some knowledge of business correspondence format required. Proficient Knowledge of personal computers with Windows required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Proficient in power point and Microsoft Project.

Other: Three to five years related prior experience. Five years’ experience in an executive level administrative support role. Knowledge and experience with software and systems required to perform job responsibilities.
