Job Summary
The SAP Functional Business Analyst II is responsible for leading the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP solutions that enhance business operations. This role involves deep engagement with stakeholders to understand complex business requirements, translating them into SAP functional specifications, and ensuring successful deployment of SAP modules, including but not limited to SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), MM (Materials Management), FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling), and PP (Production Planning). The SAP Functional Business Analyst II requires a solid understanding of SAP functionalities and hands-on experience in system configuration and optimization to enhance operational efficiency and drive continuous process improvement and innovation.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Requirement Analysis and Documentation:
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to thoroughly understand and document their requirements.
Develop comprehensive functional specifications that guide SAP system configuration.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to align business needs and solution design.
System Configuration and Optimization:
Support the configuration of SAP modules (FICO, MM, SD, PP) to ensure alignment with business processes.
Lead efforts to optimize existing SAP configurations for improved performance and efficiency.
Assist with the development of comprehensive test plans and test cases for system configurations and customizations.
Perform end-to-end testing across multiple SAP modules and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).
Ensure the integrity of the SAP system through consistent testing and validation processes.
Business Process Reengineering:
Analyze complex business processes to identify opportunities for process improvements or automation.
Design and implement SAP solutions that streamline business operations and improve productivity.
Project Leadership:
Lead small to medium-sized SAP projects, from planning and execution to go-live and post-implementation support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical teams, to ensure successful project delivery.
Develop and manage project timelines.
Support and Troubleshooting:
Provide second-level support for SAP-related issues, resolving functional issues promptly.
Coordinate with the technical team to troubleshoot and resolve system-related challenges.
Monitor and manage SAP system performance to ensure continuous availability.
Training and Documentation:
Create detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and changes.
Conduct training sessions for end-users and provide ongoing support to enhance user proficiency.
Ensure that SAP solutions adhere to organizational policies, industry regulations, and compliance standards.
Mentor and guide junior analysts, providing knowledge transfer and technical guidance.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay informed about the latest SAP developments, industry trends, and best practices.
Proactively identify opportunities to leverage new SAP features or technologies for business improvement.
Lead initiatives to continuously improve the SAP landscape and business processes.

Qualifications
Educational and Experience Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is essential to ensure a strong foundation in the relevant knowledge areas.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with hands on experience gathering requirements, process improvement, and optimizing functionality within SAP environments.
SAP certifications in relevant modules (e.g, SD, MM, FICO, PP) are preferred.
Experience with SAP system integration and end-to-end business process support.
Proven track record in configuring and customizing SAP modules to meet business requirements.
Experience with SAP Fiori or other web User Interface technologies.
Strong SAP S/4 HANA experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities are crucial for identifying and resolving SAP-related issues efficiently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in SAP modules (SD, MM, FICO, PP) and related tools.
Project management skills are an advantage.
