Construction Project Administrator
Great Lakes Roofing Corporation (Milwaukee, WI) has an opening at their Madison branch for a Construction Project Administrator. The successful individual must be well organized, possess strong task-shifting capabilities, and be able to think decisively on their feet. You support the branch’s daily operations by recording information, importing data, and maintaining records while ensuring compliance with department policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities of Construction Project Administrator
Audit and post weekly payroll Schedule projects and communicate with customers for load/unload/deliveries Inventory control – at each job site and a monthly branch-wide count Procure / purchase equipment as needed, manage vendor relationships Assess and prepare documentation related to operational processes Effective communication by phone, email and in-person with internal and external recipients.
Our Construction Project Administrator is the in-office link between project managers on job sites and the project’s documentation. You’ll resolve issues and provide well thought-out solutions based on the customer’s needs and the branch’s abilities.
Requirements of Construction Project Administrator:
Must have 3-5 years’ experience in a related role or field Demonstrable high attention to detail, organizational skills, & ability to maintain confidentiality. Take initiative, own tasks and be flexible regarding changing priorities. Ability to understand workflow, identify process improvements, summarize issues, and make recommendations to management. Experience assessing and preparing documentation related to operational processes like bills of lading, purchase orders, inventory, etc. Ability to strategically think through initiatives, issues and opportunities while contemplating unintended consequences Bonus Points for a strong understanding of:

Your work will be completed primarily indoors on computers in a private office while the Crews/fleet/inventory you help manage are expected to be out on job sites. Your office is on-site at our Madison, WI branch.
