Who You'll Work With PriceMetrix is a prominent entity within McKinsey & Company's Banking Practice which stands as the premier provider of practice management software for wealth management firms across North America. Leveraging advanced analytics and industry benchmarking, PriceMetrix empowers financial advisors and their firms to enhance their client experience and effectively drive business growth. Our PriceMetrix team is headquartered in downtown Toronto. We operate within a collaborative team environment where you'll work closely with intelligent, engaging colleagues who are committed to delivering exceptional performance. In this role, you will report directly to the Senior Asset Leader for PriceMetrix.
Your impact within our firm In this role you will collaborate with leadership to help increase the growth of PriceMetrix by cultivating client relationships and identifying impact opportunities with both existing and prospective clients. You will work directly with clients, particularly with executive client leadership, to understand their business challenges and to propose the appropriate PriceMetrix products or services to address those challenges. You will also collaborate with McKinsey partners and client service teams, developing an internal network within McKinsey to unlock opportunities for PriceMetrix to increase the impact of existing firm relationships. You will lead virtual and on-site presentations to both internal and external prospective clients. You will write proposals, manage procurement, and negotiate and close agreements together with relevant PriceMetrix and Practice leaders. You will become an expert in PriceMetrix products and services, maintain a current knowledge of industry trends and competitor offerings to inform our new products and you will work with PriceMetrix teams to ensure proposed client solutions are achievable, profitable, realistic, and meet client requirements.
Your qualifications and skills
10+ years of strategic business development, combined with consulting experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced degree a plus Successful track record developing client relationships in the wealth management space to help build PriceMetrix client base Proven ability at concluding multi-year large contracts Fluent in the retail financial services vertical Able to apply a critical perspective that is beneficial to prospects and existing clients Entrepreneurial approach; ability and desire to initiate the identification and pursuit of innovative ideas in business development while orchestrating C-level stakeholder management Well-versed in concepts and approaches related to marketing and client development processes Excellent communicator and presenter, including the ability to write persuasively and effectively, develop communications strategy, and to manage information flow Strong written, verbal and listening skills with an ability to communicate successfully with senior client audiences in English (French also helpful) Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization Strong motivator, relationship builder, and strategic thinker with strong analytical skills Keen attention to detail, coupled with strong organizational skills Comfortable in rapid, results-focused environments Strong organizational skills and an ability to confidently handle multiple tasks and priorities Willing to persevere in the face of obstacles and challenges Able to identify client needs and bring them to the surface Willingness to sporadically travel within North America and for multi-day periods
