Overview

Kimley-Horn's Williamsburg, VA (Virginia) office is seeking a Project Manager with 12+ years of experience to expand our Energy team! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

Our Energy team works on projects including:

Pipeline Design

Solar Site Design

Natural Gas Metering and Regulation Stations

Control Design and Integration

Wind Energy

Transmission Line Design

Monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules

This is an exciting opportunity to build a team of engineers and designers leading a variety of projects

You will flourish on both building meaningful internal and external professional relationships

You will work closely and collaboratively with other industry leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors

Qualifications

12+ years of relevant engineering design experience

Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)

Candidates should have experience within the Energy discipline including experience with leading the design and permitting and financials

Experience with task management, concept design, and assisting project management tasks

Familiar with coordinating with clients, attending client meetings, and overseeing quality standards

Design experience that includes utilities, site layout, drainage, due diligence and permitting
