About the Role
The Company is actively seeking a Vice President for Commercial Banking to drive growth and innovation within our commercial and industrial (C&I) business segments. In this pivotal role, you will identify and engage a target market, developing a robust portfolio of new business relationships.
Your responsibilities will include leading the entire sales cycle—from prospecting and presenting to negotiating terms across a comprehensive range of commercial banking products. You will also oversee the pre-screening of loan requests, as well as coordinate the closing and onboarding processes while ensuring adherence to our lending policies and protocols.
To be successful in this role, please bring your Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience, particularly in commercial lending, including expertise in negotiation, underwriting, and closing various types of loans. A thorough understanding of financial industry trends, exceptional analytical capabilities, and an in-depth knowledge of the market landscape are essential. You will engage in proactive business development and represent the company across various functions, ensuring we maintain our competitive edge.
A strong familiarity with banking compliance regulations, financial statement analysis, tax return interpretation, and experience with deposit and treasury management products is crucial. We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in relationship management, who is well-organized and possesses outstanding communication and time management skills.
