Selectek is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager with a strong background in construction management and scheduling. This role involves leading multiple projects annually from inception to completion while ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and quality expectations. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills are essential to succeed in this role.
In this role, it will be essential that candidates have an understanding of estimating. This will mean that all applicants are proficient in blueprint reading, take-offs, estimating, and pricing. In addition, scheduling of jobs will be important as well. This will mean candidates should be skilled in workflow scheduling and delivery coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage multiple construction projects annually, from award through completion. Review estimates, take-offs, and architectural/structural/civil drawings to ensure understanding of project scope, schedule, and costs. Identify and execute value engineering opportunities to optimize project profitability. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, fabrication, and installation teams to meet contract requirements and maintain quality standards. Maintain organized and detailed documentation of all project-related correspondence. Develop, maintain, and distribute comprehensive project schedules and updates to stakeholders. Participate in contractor, architect, and owner meetings, teleconferences, and web conferences to address project status, changes, and issue resolutions. Drive monthly revenue and optimize project billing. Analyze job performance reports to identify cost deviations and recommend corrective actions to upper management.
Required:
3+ years of experience as a project manager overseeing construction projects and acting as the go between for the end client and internal departments. Strong communication skills Experience with MS Project for scheduling and project management Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel Outlook, PowerPoint) Skilled in pull-planning techniques
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree PMP certification Familiarity with AutoCAD Bluebeam experience
NOT Interested -  In a superintendent or Construction Manager used to being in the field. They want someone who has done project management work in the office acting as the go between for them and their client. Not someone used to being on site overseeing construction crews. Job order details: This role will act as the liaison between the company and their clients ensuring that projects maintain schedule and cost are in line. They will be asked to run several projects and maintain customer communication, give customer updates, and act as the internal liaison between the customer and their internal teams (fabrication/engineering/sales). This will include updating schedules, scope, and communicating plans Sponsorship: No, must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder Pay range: $33/hour - $48/hour plus a bonus structure ($68,000 - $100,000 annual salary) Term of assignment: 6 months contract to hire or direct hire Pay method when direct: Salary no overtime pay Location of job: Lithia Springs, GA 30122 Hours and shift: Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm (some flex for start time) Work from home:  Once trained and they are comfortable, they can work from home two days a week.
