Description As a Project/Scrum Manager you will work as member of a product team to ensure agile product development, systems engineering and configuration management processes are followed, enabling your teams to work efficiently to rapidly deliver features using modern DevSecOps practices. This position requires an understanding of both SAFe/Agile and DevSecOps practices, as well as the rigor and compliance required of traditional government system engineering processes. The selected candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment, identify opportunities for improvement, and proactively engage with their teams and leadership to effect change. Responsibilities: Facilitate agile ceremonies such as release planning, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint review/demo, retrospective, and daily scrum standup. Solve problems, increase communications, and remove any team impediments to help our agile teams focus on and meet commitments. Track and provide agile reporting metrics to leadership and present to the customer Continuously seeking opportunities for improvement to the agile product development process and works with leads to implement improvements Identify issues and recommend process changes, quality improvement initiatives, and new approaches to improve overall contract performance, delivery, and quality Assist in management, maintenance, and automation of tools supporting development processes, including collection, and reporting of performance metrics Collaborate with other managers across teams to ensure consistent process implementation, share lessons learned, and identify improvements Required Skills: JIRA skills and high comfort level using JIRA/Bitbucket toolset to facilitate execution of Agile processes Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent facilitation skills Experience implementing and ensuring adherence to processes, policies and procedures for product development projects Excellent organizational skills and ability to track, report status and manage tasks to completion Detail oriented with the ability to organize, prioritize, and address multiple program schedule priorities simultaneously Desire to learn new skills, take on new responsibilities, and grow professionally Working knowledge and experience configuring and using Jira and Confluence Ability to earn Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, SSM) Preferred Skills: Experience supporting development of Data Analysis using the Agile process Experience delivering software solutions and system engineering artifacts within an DevSecOps environment Familiar with systems engineering processes and process improvement initiatives Experience with configuration management and quality assurance on an agile cloud-based software development project Experience delivering systems within an Agile/SAFe development environment Required Experience: BS degree in computer science, information technology, systems engineering or engineering management 5+ years of experience 2+ years of Scum experience 2+ years as a member of an agile team US citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance are required to be considered for this position Preferred Experience: Master's degree in technical discipline 5+ years of Scrum Master experience 5+ years as a member of an agile team Agile Certification (e.g., SAFe) Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, SSM) Benefits: LinQuest offers comprehensive and competitive benefit offerings to our team members to include medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, company paid life insurance, and more!
