Position Overview:
As an Operational Event Management Analyst, you will provide subject matter expertise in various critical areas, including systems analysis, systems engineering, and operations assessment. Your role will involve developing innovative solutions, conducting technical analyses, and supporting the National Command Control (NC2) and National Command Communications (NC3) operations.
Who You Are and What You Need:
High School diploma or GED equivalence required; Bachelor's Degree preferred but not mandatory
Must be eligible for SCI, NC2-ESO, NATO, and SAR
Minimum of five (5) years in NC2/NC3 operational capabilities and procedures, with knowledge of communications platforms and survivable capabilities
Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with large databases and extracting data into user-friendly formats (spreadsheets, graphs, charts)
Minimum of three (3) years of experience staffing complex packages and adjudicating content.
Strong technical and analytical capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Familiarity with USSTRATCOM organization preferred
What You Will Do: Provide Advisory and Assistance Support (A&AS) for the NC3 Enterprise Center. Oversee day-to-day management of NC3 operations, maintaining visibility and assessing operational and technical risks. Collaborate with NC3 Enterprise Stakeholders to develop and present capability recommendations to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) and the Deputy Secretary of Defense (DepSecDef). Support CDRUSSTRATCOM's mission in Strategic Deterrence and NC3 operations in alignment with the National Defense Strategy.
