Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced ICU RN for a contract opportunity in Rochester, NY. The ICU RN will provide high-quality care for critically ill patients, utilizing advanced nursing skills and technology to monitor and manage patient conditions in an intensive care setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in an ICU setting.
• Monitor vital signs, manage patient needs, and administer medications as prescribed.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare providers.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatments, and recovery.
• Assist in emergency procedures as needed.
• Document all patient interactions and medical information accurately in electronic health records.

Qualifications:

• Current NY RN License required.
• Previous ICU nursing experience is highly preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, and other relevant certifications.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.

Shift Notes:

• 3x12-hour shifts, rotating days/nights as needed.
• Weekend and holiday availability may be required.
