Job Description
This position will be responsible for the management and oversight of a contract manufacturing operation that includes 3 direct report supervisors and approximately 120 production operators across 3 shifts. The role involves using production and operating reports to manage yield rates, equipment uptime, output, material usage, and overhead rates to meet performance and cost expectations. The Production Supervisor will resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimal cost and prevent production delays. Additionally, the role includes planning direct labor staffing to meet production forecasts, as well as interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- 5+ years experience as a production manager, ideally in a contract manufacturing environment
- Developing and maintaining metrics for production
- People skills to influence the engagement of direct labor workforce
- Strong data analytics and problem-solving skills
- Experience with manufacturing software (Epicor)
- Lean manufacturing
- Experience with Epicor Vantage ERP
- Experience in medical device manufacturing
- Experienced in the implementation of new ERP systems (Epicor)
- Experience working in a small to midsize company that experienced significant growth
- Bachelor's Degree
