Job Title: 2nd Shift Production Supervisor (Direct Hire)
  • 2nd Shift Hours: 2:00pm -10:30pm (Monday-Friday)
  • Comp. Range: $70,000-$80,000+ (Depends on experience)

Job Description
  • The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team in the manufacturing department, focusing on mass preparation and coating processes for GMP-regulated products. This role ensures the team meets shift output and product quality requirements, managing day-to-day production floor activities to achieve safety, quality, labor efficiency, continuous improvements, and production targets.
Responsibilities
  • Provide daily leadership and management of roughly 5-10 manufacturing operators in mass preparation and coating operations.
  • Lead safety initiative and ensure compliance with safety policies.
  • Participate in quality programs and adhere to cGMP standards.
  • Manage labor and production schedules, ensuring equipment and rooms are prepared.
  • Resolve conflicts and support professional development of team members.
  • Handle timecards, pay issues, and assist in hiring staff.
  • Train and coach production staff on SOPs, cGMPs, and continuous improvement.
  • Collect and analyze production data for performance improvement.
  • Review production documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with various functional departments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
  • High School degree or equivalent, required.
    • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a science-related discipline, preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment
    • preferably in pharmaceutical or medical device industries.
  • 2-3+ years of supervisory/leadership experience, required.
    • Seeking candidates with strong team leadership skills, with a preference for those who excel in people management.
Interview Process:
  • 30 minute TEAM interview with hiring manager
  • If the hiring manager wants to proceed after the TEAM's virtual interview, then a 1.5-2 hour onsite interview will be scheduled.
Work Environment
  • This role operates in a clean room cGMP manufacturing environment.

  • This is a Permanent position based out of West Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/hr.
