Job Description
- 2nd Shift Hours: 2:00pm -10:30pm (Monday-Friday)
- Comp. Range: $70,000-$80,000+ (Depends on experience)
- Our client is a leading manufacturing company specializing in innovative drug delivery systems for the pharmaceutical industry. They make things like patches you wear on your skin and thin films that you can take by mouth, as well as device for delivering medicine that you can wear.
- The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team in the manufacturing department, focusing on mass preparation and coating processes for GMP-regulated products. This role ensures the team meets shift output and product quality requirements, managing day-to-day production floor activities to achieve safety, quality, labor efficiency, continuous improvements, and production targets.
- Provide daily leadership and management of roughly 5-10 manufacturing operators in mass preparation and coating operations.
- Lead safety initiative and ensure compliance with safety policies.
- Participate in quality programs and adhere to cGMP standards.
- Manage labor and production schedules, ensuring equipment and rooms are prepared.
- Resolve conflicts and support professional development of team members.
- Handle timecards, pay issues, and assist in hiring staff.
- Train and coach production staff on SOPs, cGMPs, and continuous improvement.
- Collect and analyze production data for performance improvement.
- Review production documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with various functional departments.
- High School degree or equivalent, required.
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a science-related discipline, preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment
- preferably in pharmaceutical or medical device industries.
- 2-3+ years of supervisory/leadership experience, required.
- Seeking candidates with strong team leadership skills, with a preference for those who excel in people management.
- 30 minute TEAM interview with hiring manager
- If the hiring manager wants to proceed after the TEAM's virtual interview, then a 1.5-2 hour onsite interview will be scheduled.
- This role operates in a clean room cGMP manufacturing environment.
- This is a Permanent position based out of West Saint Paul, Minnesota.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/hr.
