Job Description
We are inviting applications for the role of an IT Systems Supervisor to join our team in TROY, Ohio. This role is central to administering and managing our network server and infrastructure environment, playing a crucial part in the technical design, planning, and implementation of critical systems. The IT Manager's position is pivotal in the redesign and configuration of operating systems and system applications.
Responsibilities:
• Administer and manage network infrastructure and server environments, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement correction actions to maintain high availability and reliability.
• Manage and configure Windows/Linux servers, virtual machines, and cloud services.
• Ensure network and systems security through regular vulnerability assessments, patch management, and incident response.
• Collaborate with and supervise IT team members to support end-users and optimize IT infrastructure.
• Implement and manage backup solutions and disaster recovery protocols.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and policies to support operational efficiency.
• Assist with hardware and software installations, upgrades, and system configuration as required.
• Stay updated on the latest technology trends and recommend upgrades and improvements.
• Oversee the operation of the IT department, including the administration of daily operations and analyzing and recommending changes to department policies, procedures, and practices.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role (IT Manager or equivalent)• Proficient in Cisco Technologies
• Experience with Cloud Technologies is required
• Familiarity with CRM systems
• Knowledge of Dell Technologies
• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Proficiency in Active Directory operations
• Proven experience in Auditing
• Familiarity with Backup Technologies
• Strong understanding of Computer Hardware
• Experience with Configuration Management is required
• Must have knowledge of CCNA Technologies
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
