Job Summary: Our CNC team is responsible for the setup and operation of CNC production equipment. Using standard concepts, practices, and procedures, Machinists produce parts that fully meet all required specifications. You'll also be responsible for minor programming modifications to ensure that productivity and quality goals are achieved. You're expected to rely on your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Machinists will execute regular and preventative maintenance procedures to maintain product quality. Our second shift team is approximately 10 employees. What Will Your Job Look Like? Ensure that machines are producing quality products by performing in process inspection on machine output Monitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimum productivity and adherence to production schedule Troubleshoot problems during machine operation Set up machines to run parts per print Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out Maintain and clean machines before or after each shift All you need is Ability to read a production drawing and determine dimensions and tolerances Proficiency in basic math, and use of a calculator Ability to use a micrometer, caliper, and scale Ability to read, interpret and modify CNC programs Technical degree in area of specialty or 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area Working knowledge of the English language preferred Even better if you have Strong preference given to CNC Horizontal Mill experience Good time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Physical Requirements: Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Picking, Grasping, Feeling, Talking, Hearing, Repetitive Motions Close visual accuracy Subject to noise, hazards, and oils.
