Arlluk Technology Solutions LLC, a Koniag Government Services subsidiary, is seeking skilled professionals to support the Defense Health Agency's Technology Support Branch (TSB) in providing flexible, agile delivery services for various Military Health System (MHS) applications. The role involves working on critical systems such as PCOS, CCQAS, DMHRSi, EAS IV, ESSENCE, and PHIMT, which are essential for managing healthcare claims, provider credentialing, human resources, cost allocation, disease surveillance, and health information management. The ideal candidate will contribute to application development and sustainment, focusing on delivering high-quality solutions across ten core IT domains, including configuration management, cybersecurity, digital transformation, software engineering, and application support. This position requires expertise in agile methodologies and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic military healthcare environment.

Arlluk Technology Solutions is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team supporting the Defense Health Agency.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, visualization, and interpretation within a healthcare context. This role is crucial in extracting valuable insights from complex healthcare data to support decision-making and improve MHS operations.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to

:

The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets from various MHS applications and systems. Key responsibilities include:

Collect and clean large datasets from multiple sources within the MHS ecosystem.

Develop and implement data analysis methodologies to extract meaningful insights.

Create data visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and provide analytical support.

Develop and maintain statistical models to support predictive analytics and forecasting.

Perform ad-hoc analysis to address specific questions or problems as they arise.

Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in healthcare data to support decision-making.

Assist in the development and maintenance of data warehouses and business intelligence tools.

Ensure data quality and integrity through the implementation of data validation processes.

Contribute to the development of data governance policies and procedures.

Stay current with emerging trends in data analytics and healthcare informatics.

Prepare and present analytical reports to technical and non-technical audiences.

Education and Experience:

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field with 5-7 years of experience in data analysis, or

Master's degree in a relevant field with 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, or

PhD in a relevant field with 0-2 years of experience in data analysis

Required Skills and Competencies:

Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL)

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)

Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques

Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent data manipulation and cleansing skills

Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Desired Skills and Competencies:

Experience working in government or military healthcare environments

Knowledge of healthcare data standards and terminologies (e.g., HL7, SNOMED CT, ICD-10)

Familiarity with healthcare analytics and population health management concepts

Experience with natural language processing (NLP) techniques

Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FISMA)

Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)

Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools

Knowledge of epidemiology and public health concepts

Experience with geospatial analysis and mapping tools

Understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
