We are seeking a reliable and highly alert Armed Security Guard to protect people, property, and assets at our facility. Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Access Control and Surveillance:

   • Monitor and control access to buildings, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the premises.
   • Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to detect suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches.
   • Operate surveillance equipment to monitor activities and identify potential threats.

2. Incident Response:

   • Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, including thefts, disturbances, and medical incidents.
   • Assess situations, de-escalate conflicts, and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
   • Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.

3. Safety and Security Protocols:

   • Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and ensure safety.
   • Secure and monitor high-value assets, including cash, inventory, or equipment.
   • Inspect and secure doors, windows, and access points after hours to prevent unauthorized access.

4. Reporting and Documentation:

   • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities.
   • Prepare detailed incident reports for management or law enforcement as needed.

5. Weapon Handling and Readiness:

   • Carry and maintain a firearm in accordance with company policies and state laws.
   • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of firearms and other defensive tools.
   • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations regarding the handling and storage of weapons.

6. Customer and Client Interaction:

   • Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and directing individuals appropriately.
   • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

Qualifications:

1. Required Licenses and Certifications:

   • Valid armed security guard license or permit (Missouri).
   • Firearms training and certification as required by local or state law.
   • CPR and First Aid certification (preferred but not required).

2. Experience:

   • Proven experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory.
   • Military or police background is a plus.

3. Skills and Attributes:

   • Excellent observational and decision-making skills.
   • Strong communication skills to de-escalate conflicts and interact with clients or visitors.
   • Physical fitness and stamina to patrol large areas and respond quickly to emergencies.

4. Other Requirements:

   • Must be at least 21 years old (or state minimum).
   • Clean criminal background check and ability to pass drug screenings.
