Tesla is seeking a highly motivated Controls Engineer for our Gigafactory in Buffalo, New York to contribute to the design and development of new automation equipment and assembly lines.The Controls Engineer will work to develop machine and process concepts along with several Manufacturing Engineering peers. The candidate will draft detailed electrical schematics to support the concept and will oversee sourcing of the electrical panel build. The candidate will then program all equipment code components, such as PLCs, HMIs, robotics, servo drives, etc. The candidate will calibrate and fine-tune the equipment until it meets production targets. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
