About the Project: Join a landmark project as a Steel Welding Inspector for the construction of a major stadium in NYC. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the structural integrity of an iconic new facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site inspections of structural steel fabrication to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Verify weld quality, dimensions, and materials used in the fabrication process.
  • Document and report inspection findings, ensuring all work meets AWS or ICC standards.
  • Collaborate with the project team, providing expert insights and recommendations to maintain the highest quality of structural steel components.

Qualifications:

  • AWS Certified Welding Inspector (AWS-CWI) or ICC Structural Welding Inspector (ICC-SWI) certification required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in steel welding inspection.
  • Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication processes and quality control standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in an on-site environment.

$33—$50 USD
