Our client in Omaha, NE is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team for a 12+month contract position!

Hours are typically 7am-4pm Mon-Fri. 

Must have flexibility to work overtime as needed including some weekends.

Position overview:

• The ability to work a full shift, come to work on time, work overtime as needed and the ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position. 
• Directing all activities for Logistics on a shift in accordance with goals, product standards, costs, budgets, manpower and established procedures 
• Scheduling in/out deliveries and managing storage fleet 
• Coordinating and supporting Continuous Improvement activity through the facility 
• Identifying opportunities to eliminate cost and/or waste through applying LEAN manufacturing principles 
• Incorporating a culture of inclusion and continuity within all departments 
• Identifying, developing and implementing best practices in safety and quality 
• Providing direction and guidance to operators and their activities for assigned area/shift

Skills required:

* Demonstrated knowledge of managing safety and/or quality programs & processes 

* The ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing requests while maintaining a culture of accountability and execution

Skills/Experience Preferred: 

• Experience in the Food & Beverage industry 

Experience required:

               * 5+ years of warehouse/logistics supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

Education Required:

High School Diploma/GED
