Description

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Initial screening of potential leveraged loan investments, including reviewing transaction structures and credit documentation
  • Conduct detailed analysis of target investments, including in-depth assessment of business models and investment risks
  • Build comprehensive financial models covering P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
  • Participate in calls and meetings with corporate borrowers, arranger banks, and other market participants
  • Assist with ongoing monitoring of existing investment portfolios, including reviewing company reports and benchmarking relative value opportunities
  • Prepare investment committee materials and other documents for risk assessment and transaction execution as directed by head office
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of select sectors with significant leveraged loan issuance
  • Comply with all relevant regulatory requirements

Profile

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • BA/BS degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related business areas
  • 2-4 years of financial analysis experience in leveraged finance or investment
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with a solid understanding of financial analyses and accounting
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to producing professional, error-free work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a cross-cultural, cross-border environment, including the ability to work across multiple time zones
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong sense of accountability and commitment to achieving team goals

Job Offer

The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $130,000.
