$18.50 per hour

1st shift
M-F 6:30 am to 2:45 pm OT when needed
What’s a typical day as a Production Worker?
• Operate and help with blenders, packaging, batch setting, filtration devices, TRS, HTST’s, cooler, heater, evaporators, dryer and CIP systems.
• Responsible for master sanitation in your area.
• Operate equipment in a safe, accurate manner and make sure it is properly cleaned and sanitized after each use.
• Perform in-process testing according to approved methods to ensure finished product meets targeted specifications.
• Fill out master batch records on time and in a neat, orderly fashion according to GMP’s.
• Operate forklift truck (experience preferred but company will train) in a safe manner and using proper safety measures.
• Responsible for ensuring all transactions in SAP are accurate.
• During periods of down time, perform general departmental maintenance, such as painting, cleaning and operational maintenance of department machinery.
• Follow SOP's, GMP's safety rules, sanitation rules, good housekeeping procedures, and company rules of conduct
• Communicate with team members incl. supervisors, quality control personnel & other machine operators to coordinate production activities and ensure production goals are met
• Report quality and food safety problems

• Possess knowledge of multiple jobs (preferred)
• Have ability to multitask and perform general math tasks.
• Must be able to lift 55 lbs., sometimes at an interval of 1 55# box every 2 minutes.
• Have a HSD or GED
• Must be able to work in uncomfortable environments including hot, cold, wet and/or humid conditions. Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals will occur.
