Responsibilities
- Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants
- Supports new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Assist in managing employee relations by investigating, resolving, and communicating in regard to employee questions, issues, or concerns.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Benefits Administration including new hire enrollment and annual open enrollment
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors.
- Partner with and coach leadership team on employee relations matters
- Assists with learning and development initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes (including federal, state and local employment laws and regulations) to ensure HR compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of human resources experience
- HR experience in a manufacturing/production environment required
