Summary The Electrical Planner is responsible for coordinating and managing the electrical maintenance planning and scheduling requirements for our Chesapeake, VA facility. Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities Schedule routine, preventive, and predictive electrical activities to ensure the maximum availability and longevity of assets Provide technical planning and scheduling support for electrical activities Develop, prepare, and distribute electrical management reports Provide data and information for the budget preparation, tracking, and analysis Perform trend and cost analysis for vendors and electrical projects Ensure all work is completed in accordance with all Federal, State, and Local safety and environmental requirements Minimum Education HS Diploma OR GED required BS Degree (Information Technology, Industrial Technology, and Electronics) preferred Experience Requirements 5 - 7 years of previous experience Previous PLC experience Understanding of standard software applications Understanding of manufacturing technologies Strong mechanical/electrical skills Strong communication, math, organizational, and analytical skills Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements Able to move freely throughout the AgriBusiness facilities including climbing vertical heights (0 - 150'), exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db – hearing protection required) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available).
