We are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open position as a Talent Acquisition and Retention Specialist (level I, II, or III). This position will be located in Rolla, MO. ?Summary: A Talent Acquisition and Retention Specialist is responsible for attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent within an organization. Their primary duties include developing and executing recruitment strategies to identify and engage potential candidates through various channels, such as job boards, social media, university relations, and networking events. They conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and collaborate with hiring managers to ensure a strong fit for the company culture and specific roles. Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition and Retention Specialist I: Lead full-cycle recruitment for various positions, including job posting, sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiation. Meet with hiring managers to discuss key skills required for positions. Educate the hiring panels on the recruiting process and help build their interview capabilities on an ongoing basis. Conduct interviews and coordinate schedules for in-person interviews, ensuring an efficient candidate experience. Assist in building and maintaining a top-notch professional network to establish a pipeline of experienced applicants, including educational institutions, industry organizations, etc. Maintain compliance with international (when applicable), federal, and state regulations concerning employment. Support and backup onboarding processes for new hires and interns. Engage with universities by attending career fairs, hosting informational sessions, and building relationships with career services to promote internship opportunities. Collect and analyze basic employee feedback through surveys and exit interviews to assist in retention efforts. Maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS) by updating candidate records and generating regular recruitment reports. Support workforce planning initiatives. Attend and assist with company events organized by human resources. Talent Acquisition and Retention Specialist II: Same duties as Talent Acquisition and Retention Specialist I.? Additional duties as Talent Acquisition and Retention Specialist II:? Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from requisition to offer acceptance. Collaborate with hiring managers to identify hiring needs, review job descriptions, and establish candidate selection criteria. Develop and maintain partnerships with universities to facilitate recruitment of student talent. Act as a point of contact for hiring managers, providing guidance and support. Actively source and identify potential candidates using various recruitment tools and platforms. Conduct workshops and training sessions for hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques. Build relationships with external recruitment agencies, professional networks, and university career services to enhance talent sourcing. Participate in employer branding initiatives, representing the organization at job fairs and networking events. May monitor the success of internship and co-op programs by evaluating intern performance and gathering feedback from managers and interns. May facilitate the transition of intern-to-regular employees, keeping apprised of pending and changing graduation dates, intern areas of interest, and post-graduation plans. May conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement, contributing to the development of retention strategies. Assist in developing international recruitment strategies by sourcing candidates fr m global talent pools and collaborating with hiring managers to define role requirements and cultural fit. Talent Acquisition and Retention Specialist III: Same duties as Talent Acquisition and Retention Specialist II.? Additional duties as Talent Acquisition and Retention Specialist III: Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to attract diverse talent. Conduct in-depth candidate interviews and assessments. Continuously optimize and streamline recruitment processes and workflow. Collaborate to develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies targeting university students and recent graduates for internships and entry-level positions to attract and develop emerging talent. Manage talent pipelines by proactively sourcing candidates through university partnerships, career fairs, and online platforms. Analyze retention metrics to identify trends and devise targeted strategies to reduce turnover and improve employee satisfaction. Mentor and train junior staff on best practices for recruitment, retention strategies, and university relations. Partner with leadership to align recruitment and retention strategies with organizational goals, ensuring a strong pipeline of talent for future needs. May lead the off-boarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for departing employees while gathering in-depth insights from exit interviews to inform organizational improvements and retention initiatives. May lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive internship program, including establishing learning objectives, facilitating events, evaluating intern performance, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Manage the end-to-end international recruitment process, including liaising with external agencies, conducting interviews across different time zones, and ensuring compliance with local employment laws and visa requirements. ? Education and Credentials: Talent Acquisition and Retention Specialist I: 6+ years relevant human resources or recruiting experience or Associates degree in closely related field and 2+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, business, communication, or closely related field or An equivalent combination of education and related experience. Talent Acquisition and Retention Specialist II: 8+ years relevant human resources or recruiting experience or Associates degree in closely related field and 4+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, business, communication, or closely related field and 2+ years relevant experience or Masters degree in human resources, psychology, business, communication, or closely related field or An equivalent combination of education and related experience. Talent Acquisition and Retention Specialist III: 10+ years relevant human resources or recruiting experience or Associates degree in closely related field and 6+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, business, communication, or closely related field and 4+ years relevant experience or Masters degree in human resources, psychology, business, communication, or closely related field and 2+ years relevant experience or An equivalent combination of education and related experience.
