About the Position: You will serve as a working title of Supply Quality Assurance Evaluator providing unit commander/civilian director and senior leadership with assessments of the unit's ability to perform key logistics processes. Responsibilities Conduct extensive searches for information pertaining to a wide range of complex and/or unusual supply transactions and patterns. Research problems surfaced by customers and resolve issues or routes to appropriate senior leadership for further analysis. Retrieve and use data to evaluate a wide variety of supply transactions, programs, and vendor inquiries. Evaluate various supply transactions to include customer issues, backorders, turn-ins, and receipts for mission critical property. Perform research to determine reasons for patterns of transaction errors and failures. Research different databases and publications to extract data. Analyze data from different databases to ensure consistency and accuracy. Specialized Experience: In order to qualify for this position your resume must describe one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Performing duties associated with one or more automated supply data bases to enter, correct, and retrieve recurring reports; AND 2) Performing a range of standard clerical assignments to resolve supply recurring problems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Customer Service (Clerical/Technical) Sourcing Supply Planning Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06). Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
