Responsibilities of the Tax *****
Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients for business, partnership, and individual returns.
Collect and organize financial data and relevant documents from clients.
Accurately complete federal and state income tax returns (Form 1040) for clients.
Ensure all information is correct and compliant with current tax laws and regulations.
Calculate tax liabilities, deductions, credits, and payments.
Meet with clients to discuss their financial situation and tax needs.
Provide guidance on tax planning to minimize tax liabilities and maximize returns.
Address client inquiries and resolve issues related to their tax filings.
Implement updates to tax filing procedures based on new laws and IRS guidelines.
Conduct internal audits of tax returns to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Use tax preparation software to complete and file tax returns electronically.
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding client information.
What the company needs in a Tax *****
Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of tax experience
Experience with Form 1040, U.S. Individual Tax Returns
CPA License Designation preferred
In-depth knowledge of tax law and regulations
