Microsoft Customer Experience & Success’ (CE&S) is a worldwide team of reactive and proactive Support specialists who live and work across 191 countries, supporting 46 different languages engaging in customer and partner interactions to drive digital transformation. The CE&S’ Support Finance Team acts as a sparring partner for Microsoft Worldwide (WW) Support business, a multiple billion dollar unit. The experiences span from digital transformation envision dialogs with customers, to delivery of services, customer support and engagement, customer lifecycle involvement driving to customer success. The team partners heavily with corporate leadership groups and with various field communities worldwide.
We are looking for an experienced professional who can partner with business leaders in the Go-To-Market (GTM) transformation and Modernization of Support offerings in line with Cloud consumption expansion partner with our business. Someone who can proactively partner with the business and be the intersection of our Cloud and Unified businesses, developing analytics and providing recommendations on how to accelerate our Customer’s Journey in Modern Work and especially the accelerated CoPilot growth aspiration.
This is a prominent position and it requires partnering with key stakeholders: Senior business leaders in CE&S and Engineering Groups, as well as key Finance stakeholders across Microsoft.
Responsibilities
This is an exciting role in "CE&S" Customer Experience and Success within "MCAPs" Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions. The objective of the Finance team is to provide clarity, guidance, and business strategy to our customer support business ($6B+ in FY25). We partner with the business for the GTM (go-to-market) strategy of upcoming product offerings. We engage in business planning to ensure that new product offerings increase revenue, expand margin, and improve customer experience over the longer-term.
The position will report to the Support Offerings Strategy Finance Lead, and be a key part of the team, contributing to making critical decisions to drive business impact and help influence strategic transformation. Key point of contact in the Support transformation of Proactive Enhanced Solutions. Partner with the business and Finance.
Play a proactive role to guide the support offering Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to structure the portfolio of offerings through an economic lens.
Build robust financial models and decision support frameworks to optimize the offerings portfolio, drive topline revenue growth and profitability.
Work with the offerings team to drive changes to product to meet needs of customers and help increase conversion, retention and penetration of the Microsoft Account List and drive adoption of CoPilot.
Partner with margin experts in the team to assess the impact of the support offerings portfolio on the Enterprise Support Profit and Loss (P&L).
Provide support to drive planning, measure and analyze against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in line with the offering strategy.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
OR equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in project management, Financial analysis, strategic or relationship management role.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams to achieve results
Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
