Indus Hospitality Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-orientedStaff Accountantto join our team at our Corporate Office. This full-time role will primarily support the Dunkin’ & YUM! portfolios and report to the Accounting Manager. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for a range of month-end tasks, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, and assisting with internal audits. The role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with the greater accounting team while supporting the operational teams to ensure financial accuracy across multiple locations.

Requirements

Month-End Close:Perform all month-end tasks for Dunkin' & YUM! entities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Bank Reconciliations:Reconcile bank accounts for Dunkin' & YUM! entities, ensuring alignment with general ledger.

Balance Sheet Reconciliations:Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Financial Reporting:Prepare operating financials for the Executive Team, providing key insights and analysis.

Weekly Reports:Compile and prepare weekly revenue, food & supply costs, and labor reports for operations.

Invoice Data Management:Upload invoice data from various suppliers on a weekly basis to ensure accurate tracking and payments.

Operational Support:Regularly connect with the operations team to identify and address areas of opportunity, presenting findings at General Manager meetings, visiting locations, and meeting with Area Coaches & General Managers as needed.

Internal Audits:Conduct internal audits across all operating locations, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for operational improvements.

Ad Hoc Projects:Assist the Accounting Manager and CFO with special projects as required, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Qualifications/Skills:

Education & Experience:Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred; a combination of education and experience will be considered (minimum of 2 years' accounting experience).

Technical Skills:Familiarity with Sage Intacct or similar accounting software is preferred.

Attention to Detail:Strong ability to comprehend and analyze financial data with a high degree of accuracy.

Organizational Skills:Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a keen eye for detail.

Problem-Solving:Independent and proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to take ownership of tasks.

Communication:Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.

Technical Proficiency:Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills preferred).

Adaptability: Willingness to learn, grow, and adapt within an ever-evolving company.

Salary Description

60,000-65,000
