JOB TITLE: Commissioning Manager / MEP Superintendent - FSM LOCATION: Montgomery, AL iParametrics, on behalf of our client, is seeking a Commissioning Manager / MEP Superintendent specializing in MEP and building controls to lead and execute commissioning management across multiple high-profile projects. This role focuses on ensuring operational project readiness, with a primary emphasis on MEP systems and controls, specifically within critical facility environments such as data centers. JOB DESCRIPTION The Commissioning Manager / MEP Superintendent (FSM) will coordinate with MEPF trade partners and manage commissioning processes to ensure seamless project execution. This role requires extensive expertise in MEP and building controls systems and hands-on experience in commercial construction for high-impact projects. RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with project teams to manage MEPF trade partners through planning, inspection, and commissioning testing processes.
Develop and implement project-specific commissioning and execution plans, aligned with critical project milestones.
Review contract documents, including design drawings and specifications, to ensure compliance with program requirements.
Establish and manage Cx schedules, communicate Cx processes, and lead project Cx team meetings.
Document MEPF equipment inspections and track issue resolution throughout the commissioning process.
Oversee Level 4/5 Cx testing and maintain commissioning progress records via the commissioning software platform.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial construction with MEPF/building controls for contractors, general contractors, or Cx agencies.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, P6, or MS Project.
Valid driver’s license.
Strong project management skills with expertise in facilities operations and building systems.
Excellent communication skills for effectively presenting complex issues to clients and team members.
Familiarity with critical facility environments, including data centers, hospitals, and airports.
BENEFITS & COMPENSATION As a W2 employee of iParametrics, team members are eligible for benefits such as medical, dental and vision, and the company matching 401K plan, subject to plan terms and applicable waiting periods. Compensation for this position is salary, $110,000-150,000, based on experience, background, and skills.
