JOB TITLE: Commissioning Manager / MEP Superintendent - FSM LOCATION: Wenatchee, WA iParametrics, in collaboration with our client, is seeking a Commissioning Manager / MEP Superintendent with experience in MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire) systems and building controls to lead commissioning management across multiple projects. This role will report to the Facility Solutions Regional Manager and will work closely with remote Facility Solutions Associates to ensure the successful delivery of facility solutions. JOB DESCRIPTION As a Commissioning Manager / MEP Superintendent, you will provide technical oversight and management for the delivery and implementation of commissioning processes. This role requires a strong background in MEPF systems, facility operations, and project management within critical facility environments. RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with Hensel Phelps teams and manage MEPF trade partners through planning, inspection, and commissioning testing processes.
Utilize standard MEPF/building controls testing procedures and equipment.
Lead a team to deliver Operational Project Readiness (OPR) and Commissioning Management (CxM) services across various projects.
Review and analyze contract documents, including design drawings, submittals, and specifications, ensuring program understanding and operability.
Develop and maintain a project-specific commissioning plan and execution plan in alignment with contract documents.
Establish and manage equipment testing/certification requirements through the commissioning software platform.
Lead project commissioning team meetings, addressing schedule, sequencing, constraints, and resolutions.
Document MEPF equipment inspections and testing; manage issue resolution to support start-up and commissioning.
Coordinate and manage Level 4/5 commissioning tests on behalf of our client.
Oversee documentation and control of commissioning progress through software tools.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Strong written communication skills, with attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Project, Word, SharePoint) and Adobe Cloud.
Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial construction with MEPF/building controls contractors, general contractors, or commissioning agencies.
Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred); relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Valid driver’s license required.
Ability to communicate complex issues effectively in written and oral presentations.
Strong project management skills and working knowledge of facilities operations and building systems.
Proficient in P6 and/or MS Project.
Ability to work collaboratively in mobile work environments and function as part of a high-performance team.
Understanding of the critical facility environment, including hospitals, airports, and data centers.
BENEFITS & COMPENSATION As a W2 employee of iParametrics, team members are eligible for benefits such as medical, dental and vision, and the company matching 401K plan, subject to plan terms and applicable waiting periods. Compensation for this position is salary, $130,000-170,000, based on experience, background, and skills.
