In this pivotal role, you will support the Payments Governance Manager in developing and executing a robust risk management framework focused on payment systems. Your responsibilities will include implementing regulatory handbooks, creating insightful risk program reports, and serving as a key liaison across all business units and data sources. You will establish operational risk metrics, prepare comprehensive dashboards, and maintain effective reporting procedures. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in a financial institution, demonstrating expertise in transaction processing and payment systems, alongside a solid background in operational or risk management reporting. A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration is required, with a CPA or similar professional certification preferred. You should have in-depth knowledge of banking operations, BSA/AML laws, regulations, and payment system rules. Excellent communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and project management experience are essential. Proficiency in Excel, Business Objects, Power BI, Power Query, PowerPivot, and SQL is also required.
