Heres What Youll Get to Do

Leads Procurement team ( 5 Regional Managers, 30 people total) to achieve objectives across OBEs 28 Glass facilities Drives continuous improvement and delivers world class KPI performance in Procurements operational metrics, such as supplier OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) delivery, supplier quality and raw material inventory performance Works collaboratively with cross-functional team members to achieve customer service excellence as a member of OBEs Sales, Operations and Inventory Planning (SIOP) team Develops strategies to improve OBEs Total Cost of Ownership (TCO,) including VA/VE efforts (workshops, analysis, etc.,) and coordination of make/buy decisions as appropriate Supports the quotation and delivery of customer projects Supports development and assures implementation of Procurement processes, tools and initiatives. Directs sourcing consistent with companys strategies. Provides feedback to companys processes and strategies to assure they meet the needs of OBEs customers and facilities Supports the ongoing development of OBE Category Strategies, including supplier and product requirements. Maintains active 2-way communication throughout the organization regarding OBEs procurement processes and Category Strategies Serves as escalation point for Supplier Performance issues (Quality, Cost, Delivery,) to assure resolution in a fact-based manner Supports Product Development deliverables as appropriate Maintains collaborative working relationships with OBEs key suppliers, consistent with OBE virtues

Heres What Were Looking For

Ability to travel 25% 10 Years Experience in a Manufacturing Environment, 5 Years with management responsibility. Procurement preferred, also an opportunity for Operations / Engineering or Finance professionals 4-Year degree in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering. Masters degree preferred Strong analytical skills, black belt / green belt a plus. History of identifying and capturing opportunities Experience with SIOP / SandOP a plus Demonstrated ability to lead across organizational boundaries Collaborative and cross-functional approach to achieving objectives Experience in developing team members to the next level of capability Positive approach to building and generating value from supplier relationships Record of creating effective KPIs and/or escalating performance vs. KPIs through innovative approaches
