If that sounds like you, come join this industry leader! Heres What Youll Get To Do Initiate line of communication with customer at onset of project. Develop and maintain schedule of deliverables based on project schedule needs, then relaying this information into a rolling forecast to accurately project billings. Ensure scope of project is consistent with quote and project design needs. Coordinate the shop drawing process and the engineering process. Understand the roles of, facilitate support from, and coordinate with engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, fabrication, shipping, and credit to accommodate the needs of assigned projects. Resolve application issues, field issues, and general technical issues promptly. Maintain detailed and organized records of all project-related documents Attend and participate in Design Assist and Project Meetings Ability to travel to customer facilities, job sites, manufacturing facilities, and fabrication facilities as necessary Heres What Were Looking For Minimum of Five (5) years project management experience in the curtain wall industry is required. Must have an understanding of the glazing industry and products, including both design and application; knowledge of Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope's products is preferred including curtain wall, storefront, window wall, doors, operable windows, unitized curtain wall and glass Must be able to represent OBE while traveling to project sites, customersoffice and business partners facilities in order to collaborate and solve project challenges, review on site installation on product, witness product testing, as well as project planiing and face to face communication while upholding OBEs virtues Must be able to use an array of software applications including ERP systems, standards project management tools and site specific applications Must be able to manage projects with multiple products across multiple plants Must be capable of reading architectural drawings, structural drawings, and project specifications. Must have excellent skills in the following areas: documentation, organization, communication, and problem-solving. Must be able to write technical letters on products, product application and installation Must be able to multi-task and manage workload with minimal supervision. Must have the ability to accurately analyze contract documents, submittals, and application of systems to devise and define scope from very limited design input. Must have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment, while being flexible to changing circumstances. Advanced profici ncy in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Word. Must have the ability to negotiate in a fair, firm, and friendly manner Must have field installation knowledge and product fabrication knowledge to assist customers and internal OBE departments An uncompromising safety-first approach in the workplace.
