STV is seeking a Roadways Vehicles Engineering Project Manager to join our Vehicles department at our offices near Los Angeles and Oakland, CA. We are looking for a highly skilled individual to lead and manage projects focused on the design, development, and optimization of transit vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, experience in the transit industry, and excellent project management skills. This role will involve coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end transit vehicle engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company goals.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, testing) to meet vehicle specifications and performance standards.

Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation while mitigating risks.

Ensure compliance with transit roadway safety standards and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Conduct design reviews, testing, and validation to ensure the performance, safety, and durability of transit vehicles.

Manage relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders, providing updates and resolving technical inquiries.

Drive continuous improvement by implementing new technologies and best practices in engineering and project management.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).

5+ years of experience in roadway transit vehicle engineering or a related field.

Proven track record in project management within the roadway industry.

Strong knowledge of railway vehicle systems, standards, and safety regulations.

PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.

Compensation Range: $137,697.82 - $183,597.09
