What you'll be doing:
We're a rapidly growing apparel decorating company pushing the boundaries of design and innovation. We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations to lead our production team and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader who can adapt to evolving trends and technologies, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve.
Production Leadership:
Oversee all aspects of production, including screen printing, embroidery, and digital printing, to deliver high-quality, on-time orders. Process Optimization:
Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall productivity. Technology Adoption:
Stay informed about the latest industry trends and technologies, such as automation and AI, to explore opportunities for innovation and growth. Team Development:
Build and lead a high-performing team of skilled operators and technicians, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning. Quality Assurance:
Implement rigorous quality control standards to ensure exceptional product quality and customer satisfaction. Supply Chain Management:
Manage relationships with suppliers of garments, inks, threads, and other materials to optimize inventory levels and minimize supply chain disruptions. Financial Performance:
Monitor and analyze operational costs, including labor, materials, and overhead expenses, to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth. Safety and Compliance:
Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and industry standards, prioritizing employee well-being and environmental sustainability.
What we are looking for:
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in apparel decoration operations management. In-depth knowledge of screen printing, embroidery, and digital printing techniques. Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and inventory control. Proven leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in relevant software, including production management systems and design software.
