About the Role
The university is seeking a dynamic Associate Vice President and Deputy Chief Information Officer to enhance its technology landscape. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer to cultivate a digital environment that fosters student and employee success.
The ideal candidate will provide strategic vision and operational leadership for technology services, emphasizing digital transformation and next-gen enterprise IT. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the Project Management Office and managing Enterprise Applications and Information Systems, ensuring the successful implementation of large-scale organizational projects through effective management of cross-functional teams.
To be considered, you should possess:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
At least 5 years of experience in technology leadership, with a proven track record in IT service management and project execution.
Specialized knowledge in IT service management and project management; experience with enterprise applications, particularly Peoplesoft, is highly valued.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to create a collaborative and motivated culture.
A commitment to supporting student success through innovative technology solutions.
A broad technology background, expertise in IT strategic planning, and effective project management skills.
Desirable experience in higher education or large corporate environments, along with a background in diversity and inclusion initiatives.
