The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and directing the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems to enhance business operations, improve cost-effectiveness, and service quality. This role requires a leader with a holistic IT vision, capable of supporting the diverse technology requirements of the campus. The CIO/AVP, IT will also provide leadership for the overall effectiveness and operations of the IT division, ensuring that the institution's technology infrastructure aligns with its educational and business goals. Applicants for this position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' experience in all phases of computer operations, with at least 3 years' in a senior management role. Experience in IT planning, system design, and management of technical personnel is essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in leading strategic planning and administration of information technology, with a focus on defining user needs and developing staff. While not mandatory, experience in higher education and with enterprise-wide systems, particularly those similar to Ellucian Banner, is preferred.
