The Basics of a Branch Manager:
Full Time, Exempt Role.
Weekly schedules will be set between the hours of 8:15-5:15p Monday through Friday.
Oversee the Arlington and Dallas branches.
After-hours and weekend community-related activities as needed for business purposes.
What you'll do as a Branch Manager:
In this role you will grow and develop a branch with the goal of providing a top-tier experience for our credit union members and team members. Be a catalyst for positive change by driving all facets of branch operations, branch development, and supporting your team through servant leadership.
Team Member Leadership:
Attract, hire, coach, and engage assigned staff through servant leadership and continuous coaching.
Reinforce the Credit Union’s mission, vision, and core values by serving as a culture agent, motivating team members to achieve higher standards, and promoting a commitment to a Top-Tier member experience.
Partner with all assigned team members through intentional career path development.
Oversee all aspects of supervisory responsibilities to include scheduling, performance coaching, daily workflow, training, etc.
Prepare new and train existing team members by guiding them through the training program(s) established by Learning & Development (L&D).
Branch Growth Leadership:
Drive branch performance through a relationship-based sales model focused on a top-tier member experience and increasing share of wallet.
Lead in the successful execution of branch goals.
In collaboration with your assigned leadership, assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective development opportunities.
Lead community outreach and volunteer events to expand Credit Union reach.
Serve in the local community that drives strategic growth of the credit union brand and furthers your personal professional growth.
Branch Operations Leadership:
Oversee all areas of branch operations including member relations, branch security, cash management, ATM and Vault operations, supervisor overrides, regulatory compliance, time keeping, and leave management.
Ensure the assigned branch is adequately staffed with the support of HR and Learning & Development, with qualified, well-trained team members.
Be a subject matter expert in all aspects of Branch Operations with an emphasis on fraud and loss mitigation.
Perform periodic audit of cash drawers, safety deposit box, and spot audits of team member transactions.
Recommend process improvements to streamline or reduce cost.
Assist team members in resolving complex member issues.
Other Duties:
Comply with the credit union Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Policy and Anti Money Laundering and Member Due Diligence Procedures. The BSA training is to be completed within 90 days of employment and annually thereafter.
Complete compliance and career development training as assigned.
Act as a Notary Public and perform Medallion Signature Guarantee service as needed.
Lead and delegate special projects as assigned.
Qualifications: Qualifications
Must Haves as a Branch Manager:
2+ years supervisory experience in a credit union or bank.
Networking, Coaching & Upskilling, Problem Solving, Verbal & Written Communication, Servant Leadership.
HS Diploma/GED
Nice to Haves as a Branch Manager:
3+ years of supervisory experience in a credit union or bank.
Bilingual in Spanish and English.
