WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Managing projects and prioritizing for self, project teams, vendors, and contractors.

Setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring the progress of projects.

Offering solutions to resolve basic project issues with limited guidance.

Managing project activities against schedule/milestones, effectively.

Developing reports for management review.

Relying on extensive judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Communicating and collaborating well with other teams and customers.

Supporting the improvement of processes/procedures to drive project efficiency.

Supporting the Team/Customer by occasionally working after hours and responding to emergency service calls.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:

5+ years of experience in a Project Management position supporting Federal/State/Local government customers.

5+ years of experience in managing multiple subcontractors.

5+ years of supporting technologies associated with Intelligent Transportation Systems and/or Communication Tower Maintenance.

Basic knowledge of two-way radio/cellular infrastructure communications products, services, low voltage, generator, and HVAC maintenance.

Ability to organize, prioritize, and autonomously manage multiple projects or portions of projects and teams in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient with ERP systems and developing reports for management review.

CAPM (Certified Associate Project Manager) certification is required.

In lieu of CAPM, 7-10 years of experience in Project Management.

PMP (Project Management Professional) highly desired or working towards obtaining PMP within 1 year.

YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The physical environment requires the employee to work inside and outside.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear; lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; occasionally move equipment weighing up to 15 pounds, and frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Travel as necessary to support company and customer needs across the State of Maryland that may require overnight stays.

DIRECT REPORTS:

5+ years of experience managing direct reports
